Abdullah’s work encompasses drawing, installation, sculptures, animation and audio. Seeking to establish a conversation between traditional Islamic Art forms, contemporary practices and political designing. His works are devoted to the concepts of “veil language” and fragments while commenting on the fragility of information and its relation with entropy.

Central to his artistic lexicon is the concept of “Veil language”, a silent conduit for conveying ideas and narratives, particularly amidst environments of censorship and suppression. Through the abstract interpretation of patterns and calligraphy, he delves into the depths of spirituality, identity, and the lingering impact of trauma. Being part of suppressed muslim community, he is always aware to the possibilities of facing consequences due to section 298C of Pakistan penal code which has restricted the religious practices and freedom of the community in Pakistan. Raising questions, how same Islamic knowledge which is used to unite people can be used to generate division for political advantage. This influences how he sees things and makes decisions within his art practice. His art serves as a vessel for abstraction and distortion, challenging the fragility of information within the universal and political context. Questioning the moral underpinnings of sectarianism, migrational identity, and democracy, he seeks to unravel the intricacies of collective consciousness, urging viewers to reflect upon the ever evolving narratives that shape our world.
